Glen Whipp Crook

Glen is on a 44 week placement with Arnolds Keys as part of his Rural Enterprise and Land Management degree at Harper Adams University.  His course covers all aspects of rural property management, including taxation, law and valuation, and the year he spends with us will provide him with a valuable insight into the practical application of those skills.

He comes from an agricultural background, having grown up on the family farm in Lancashire, a business which has seen much diversification into such areas as barn conversions and tourism.  As a result he has learnt a wide range of practical property skills, and enjoys getting hands-on with projects, assisting throughout the construction.

Glen has been driving on the farm as long as he can remember, and is now passionate about motorsport, racing his own car in the MX5 Championship.  His motorsport interest has also seen him managing events for various organisations, including for Red Bull at the British Grand Prix and for Rolls Royce at the Royal International Air Tattoo.  He also enjoys teaching rallying and sailing.

Glen’s ambition is to own ‘a lovely big house in the countryside’, complete with a garage full of cars and a collection of farm animals.
