SUCCESSFUL NORTH NORFOLK HOLIDAY LETTINGS BUSINESS WITH PERMISSION FOR EXPANSION OFFERED FOR SALE
Published 12 January 2023
A successful north Norfolk holiday lettings business with planning permission to create further accommodation which could boost income to more than £100,000 a year has come onto the market.
Seaglass Barns at East Ruston consists of three fully-operating holiday letting units, with a further unit partly developed. In addition, the property includes another building which has planning permission to be converted into a fifth, substantial holiday letting unit.
In total the 1.47 acres site offers over 7,000 sq ft of buildings, which when completed is projected to bring in gross rentals of over 3100,000 a year. The site is on the market for £1.05 million.
“Seaglass Barns is a very good example of a creative conversion which has been created to take advantage of very strong demand for holiday letting accommodation in north Norfolk,” said Harry Downing of Arnolds Keys, which is marketing the property.
“The site already has three units completed to a very high standard, which are already being successfully run as holiday accommodation. A fourth unit is yet to be internally fitted out, while a separate 1,8883 sq ft barn has planning permission for conversion into a fifth, very large holiday unit.
“This is the perfect opportunity for an investor who wants to take advantage of the sustained strong demand for self-catering accommodation in north Norfolk, and who is able to complete a project which is already bringing in a profitable income.”
Seaglass Barns is situated at East Ruston, close to both the north Norfolk coast and the Norfolk Broads. The site is on the outskirts of the village, accessed by a private track.
