Published 29 January 2024
One of the largest warehouse premises to be offered to let in Norfolk for some years has been launched onto the market.
Units 6&7 at Shipdham Airfield Industrial Estate provide a total of 91,681 sq ft; 59,634 sq ft in one unit, and 32,047 sq ft in the other. The two units are being offered to let together, but the letting of each individually may be considered.
Built in the 1980s, the huge warehouses benefit from an eaves height of six meters, and are fitted with pallet racking for approximately 7,000 pallets. They are available for immediate occupancy.
Guy Gowing, managing partner of letting agents Arnolds Keys, said, “The market for warehousing in Norfolk is extremely buoyant, with internet retail fulfilment boosting demand, and post-Brexit stockpiling also increasing the need for such buildings.
“So to have such a significant warehouse premises come to the market is noteworthy. This is the largest warehouse premises currently on the market in Norfolk.”
