HUGE WAREHOUSE DEAL BRINGS LEADING FURNITURE BUSINESS TO SHIPDHAM
Published 20 January 2025
A massive 60,000 sq ft warehouse in Shipdham is to become the new UK operating centre of Polish furniture giant Dako Furniture, following one of the biggest property letting deals in Norfolk in recent years.
Norfolk property services firm Arnolds Keys brokered the lease on the huge building on Shipdham Airfield Industrial Estate on behalf of its owner H.G.Pledger (Storage) Ltd, and is currently marketing a 32,000 sq ft warehouse building on the same site.
“This is one of the biggest industrial property lettings in Norfolk in recent years,” said Nick O’Leary, head of commercial agency at Arnolds Keys.
“Dako had outgrown their previous premises in Brandon, and were looking for a larger warehouse in the county offering a six metre eaves height, full height loading doors, and substantial pallet racking. We were able to meet their needs completely, and the new building will offer them room to expand still further.
“Shipdham Airfield Industrial Estate is already home to some very successful businesses, and its combination of substantial amounts of flexible space and good access is what attracted Dako to the site.”
The neighbouring 32,000 sq ft warehouse, also offering six metre eaves height, is also being offered for let by Arnolds Keys on behalf of H.G.Plegder. More details at www.arnoldskeys.com/commercial.
