ARNOLDS KEYS APPOINTED TO MANAGE ICONIC CITY OFFICE BUILDING

Published 5 April 2023

Arnolds Keys has taken on the management of one of the city’s most iconic office buildings – Norvic House.

Situated on Chapelfield Road, the distinctive blue smoked glass office block has been home to Aviva, the RAC and Naked Wines in recent years.

Now owned by property company Foremount, the property, which had stood empty for some time, is being brought back to life, with the first tenant Outlook Publishing moving in late in 2022.

Norvic House was built in 1967, and assumed its current appearance with the addition of the distinctive blue glass in 1988.

Arnolds Keys commercial property and facilities manager Nick Cooper, who is heading the team managing the building, said, “We have been very proactive in ensuring that the building is attractive to potential occupiers, making sure that everything is as it should be, from the fabric of the building itself to the efficient operation of the electric doors which is the first thing people see.

“We have not been afraid to review and challenge contractors where necessary, drawing on our extensive local knowledge to ensure that the building is managed effectively, efficiently and in a way which maximises the value tenants receive for the service charge they pay.

“Norvic House is a prominent and iconic city building, and the landlord is rightly demanding that it is managed in a professional way which reflects well both on the building and its occupiers.

“We manage a number of buildings, dealing with a range of services including rent collection, service charge administration, and forward maintenance in addition to usual landlord and tenant matters, and we look after approaching 200.”
